Boating Skills and Seamenship Book

The U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary's Boating Skills and Seamanship

 

Class cost is $40 and consists of thirteen 2 hour sessions. Each additional family member $25 with shared book. The class will be every Thursday at 6:30-8:30  pm October 23, 2008 through January 15,2009 and held at 235 Marine Dr., Blaine Harbor Conference Room, Blaine, WA 


A GPS course will also be offered in early 2009.

    Getting a Boater Education Card

    To receive a Boater Education Card, you must first complete the application (PDF download). To request an application, you also may:

    • Call the Boating Programs at (360) 586-6592;
    • Send an e-mail to boating@parks.wa.gov;
    • Fax (360) 902-0081; or
    • Send a letter to the address below.

    To receive your card, send a completed application along with the following:

    • Check or money order for $10, made payable to Washington State Parks.
    • A legible copy of your proof of course completion or exam certificate. Do not send original documents, they will not be returned.
